I’m a day late in posting my motivational and inspirational quotes for the week. However, there’s another 6 days of the week to go, so better late than never.
“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”
Theodore Roosevelt (1858 – 1919)
I love that quote. You can’t just sit on the fence. You have to be brave and courageous, otherwise you’ll get nowhere. Sure there may be failures along the way, but failure is a part of success. Get after what you want, even though you might fail because someday, you’ll “win that glorious triumph.”
“Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
Thomas A. Edison (1847 – 1931)
Another great quote from one of the most famous inventors of all time. You can’t let failure get in the way of dreams. Before every success, there’s a string of failures, and it’s the people who start again after a failure, who eventually succeed.
