I’m constantly on the look out for ways to make money, and a lot of the time, it can be difficult to find opportunities and gaps in the market. However, they’re there. Ideas for websites and services can be found everywhere, you’ve just got to know where to look. 
I browse the internet (like most of you reading this) a lot, and every so often I’ll come across a problem. For example…[ad#content2]
I watch a lot of the sales forums on some of the larger webmaster communities, and there are continually new websites coming on the market. Now the problem is that it’s hard to keep up with all those sites which are on sale, and even harder to get in there early enough to buy one at the right price.
Could I use that problem to create a solution which everyone would want to use? Have I spotted a gap in the market, and could I provide a service which would allow people to keep up to date with all of the sites for sale?
Money making ideas can be found almost anywhere, so why not in the problems we face each day? Here’s another quick example. I was browsing a forum and saw a post where someone was looking for a Wordpress plugin, and they couldn’t find the one they needed. Is that another opportunity?
When you’re browsing around, note your problems down. Don’t forget that your problems don’t have to be online, record all of the problems you face. Come back to that list when you’ve got some time, and start to think about potential solutions. Can you develop one?
It’s important to be realistic, though. You need to make sure that no other solution exists, or at least know how you can improve upon an already existing solution.
Search on forums, Yahoo Answers, and other sites like that to find other problems which could be turned into money making solutions. Who knows, perhaps that thing which bugs you everyday is a potential goldmine.
I complain about not being able to come up with good ideas, when some are staring me right in the face. Take your problems, and things which bug you, and see if you can create “profitable” solutions. Even if you don’t make money, you’re bound to help somebody.

So right! Some of the best selling products or services are ones that address a need or solve a problem! Too many people get caught up in the technology of making money online and forget that it all starts with providing something that their potential customers want or need!

Yes it is easy to find different ways to make money online. (I like the plugin thing). But I find that people would rather blame someone else for them not being able to make money online than themselves. (myself included sometimes:)
But yes the ways are out there> Great read I enjoyed it.
