It’s time to write your first draft

Posted on March 12th, 2008.

My series on writing content is coming to a close. However, I’ve a few more ideas on more ways to get content for your website, but they won’t b part of this series. The next step in writing an article is the first draft, you’re actually going to be doing some writing.

Before starting to write anything, you must ensure that you’ve done the proper research, and that you’ve got a plan. Once you have those two things in place, it’s time to actually do some writing.

Also, make sure you’re in a quiet place without any distractions. You want your writing to be good, so you don’t want to be distracted by anything.

When you’re writing your first draft, it’s important to get everything that you’ve got in your head onto paper. That’s why when I’m writing an article, I don’t stop writing on until I’ve said all that I want to say. It doesn’t matter if you’ve made mistakes, or if something is grammatically incorrect, you just need to get it all out of your head and unto paper. That’s the most useful part of advice in this post, start writing and just keep on writing, don’t stop for anything.

That’s really all there is to writing a first draft. You’ve already done all of the hard work in researching and planning the article. The actual writing is just producing something to show for the hard work that you’ve already done.

That’s it for your first draft. Start writing and just keep on writing, don’t stop for anything. I think it took me about 15 minutes to complete the first draft of this article. So as you can see, the actual writing doesn’t take long to do. Do proper research first and have a good plan, and the actual writing will be a breeze.
