Learning from other Bloggers’ Archives
You should always be looking to find a way to improve the quality of your blog. Improving is the only way to increase visitor numbers and hopefully, revenue. Only the best and most informative blogs hit the mother lode (lots of cash). Perhaps your blog is at a crossroads and you’re asking yourself, where do I go from here?
It’s simple, if you don’t know where to take your blog or how to take it to the next level, look at how other bloggers did it. I’m not saying copy them, that’s a definite no, but get inspiration and ideas from them. Learn from other bloggers’ successful formulas.
Look at how John Chow and Tyler Cruz did it. What about Problogger? Take a peek at their archives – how they began, when and how they started advertising, how they increased RSS subscriptions and other stuff like that. Then use some of their ideas as inspiration for your own blog, and how you can make it better.
However, I do need to stress again. It’s not worth copying someone else’s blog. Blogs are supposed to be unique, and your own. Only use others’ blogs for inspiration for your own ideas.
